Consultations afford parents an opportunity to ask questions, solicit advice and receive direction in regard to helping their child with learning differences. Parents may seek guidance for the following reasons: 

For advice and support in their pursuit of the best educational setting for their child, including receiving information about appropriate agencies, resources and recommended course of action. 

For help interpreting assessments, school testing, 504 plans and IEP’s. 

For assistance in synthesizing information from other professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists in order to form a more cohesive plan of educational strategies and interventions.

            For help when their child transitions from and into different school settings. 

As an ongoing and integral part of educational therapy that includes all of the above.
